Diet for Fever:  Fever is quite common in children and even adults. Fever also occurs in the changing season, which is the natural process of fighting the infection present in the body. Fever is a good thing because during this time immunity (power to fight against diseases) develops in the body against other diseases, but staying fever for a long time can be a sign of danger. Due to fever, there is weakness in the body, for this it is necessary to take a better diet. It is good to eat nutritious and light food in case of fever.

To make ourselves feel good in fever and to keep ourselves healthy, these things should be consumed in our diet, let us know what kind of diet we should take:

1. Eating Porridge

Khichdi is considered a light meal. In fever, our liver becomes weak, due to which we are unable to digest food. In such a situation, Khichdi is a nutritious food as well as a quick digestible food. Khichdi is easily digested. If you eat khichdi when you have a fever, you will feel better and will get well soon.

2. Semolina analogy

There is weakness in fever and often the patient complains of constipation. Due to which the patient does not like to eat any kind of food and feels weakness. In such a situation, you can take the analogy of semolina in the diet, it will remove the problem of your constipation.

3. Boiled Eggs

Eggs are rich in protein which is essential for our health. Eggs give energy to our body. Vitamin B6 and B12, zinc and selenium are present in eggs, which helps in strengthening our immunity. If you consume plenty of eggs in a fever, it will remove weakness.

4. Drink More Soup

Light food should be taken in fever which is digested quickly. Soup with khichdi is also considered a better food for fever. The nutrients present in it provide energy to the body. If you include soup in your diet chart in fever, then recovery will happen soon and weakness will go away.

5. Besan Sheera

Besan molasses has been used for fever for a long time. Besan molasses is considered a very healthy food for cold, cough, cold and fever. The problem of sore throat and blocked nose can be easily overcome by consuming it in fever.
